Service standards

We value your time and prioritize punctuality. Our professional chauffeurs aim to provide a safe, smooth and timely trip from pickup to drop-off. Passengers should arrive at agreed-upon locations on time and communicate changes that may affect the travel schedule.

Reservations and payments

Unless otherwise agreed to in advance and in writing, total charges incurred are billed to the client’s credit card unless invoice arrangements have been made and approved in advance. LAX Black Car Services accepts all major credit cards or cash. New and one-time clients may be required to present their card to a driver for processing. Additional ID verification may be necessary for security purposes.

Airport transfers

For trips from the airport, your vehicle is dispatched according to the flight’s estimated arrival time provided to LAX Black Car Services by each respective airline’s automated system. All airport pickups include 30 minutes of free wait time. For airport departures, passengers should plan to arrive two hours before a domestic flight and three hours before an international flight.

Point-to-point transfers

Point-to-point transfer rates are available for local pickups and drop-offs within Los Angeles, Orange, San Diego, Ventura, San Bernardino, Riverside, Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, Kern, Kings and Fresno counties. Transfer rates are a function of time, distance and zone locations.

Hourly service

Hourly service has a three-hour minimum charge. It allows multiple stops and wait time as directed by the client. The vehicle stays with the client for the rental period and is valid only for the local service area or within the same or next county.

Cancellations

For the local service area, sedan and SUV airport transfers may be cancelled without charge four hours before the scheduled pick-up time. Vans require no less than twelve hours’ cancellation notice.

No shows

If you do not see your driver, please text or call our office immediately at 1-714-702-3550 to avoid the full-charge no-show fee. For point-to-point and airport service, a fee equal to the base fare is charged when the client does not show at the pre-arranged pickup location. For hourly service, a fee equal to two hours of service is charged when the client does not show at the pre-arranged pickup location.

Arrival time

LAX Black Car Services and its drivers prepare in advance to avoid unnecessary delays. The desired arrival time is not a guarantee. It is the rider’s responsibility to plan accordingly and allow ample time in case of emergency, road, traffic or weather conditions beyond reasonable control of the company or driver. LAX Black Car Services is not liable for loss incurred by a rider resulting from a later-than-desired arrival.

Baggage and property

LAX Black Car Services cannot assume responsibility for handling or maintenance of baggage or other property, nor for property left in vehicles. We will do everything possible to secure and retrieve belongings left in a vehicle. Please check thoroughly before leaving the vehicle.

Passenger conduct

LAX Black Car Services reserves the right to refuse to transport persons under the influence of or in possession of illegal drugs, those excessively intoxicated, in possession of firearms or dangerous substances, or persons who are or are likely to become objectionable to others or make the driver feel threatened.

Excess cleaning and smoking

If the company must expend extended time and materials to clean a vehicle due to a client or passenger, it may charge additional fees. Smoking in all vehicles is strictly prohibited, including marijuana and electronic vaping devices.

Stops and meet & greet

Extra stops are charged a minimum of $20 per en-route stop and include a maximum 15-minute wait period. Additional wait time is charged at the prevailing hourly rate in quarter-hour increments. Personalized meet & greet service is available on request for a nominal fee of $40.
